I am a professional pianist and selling my Bechstein piano, having been given the chance to acquire a Steinway. 
 
The Bechstein for sale is black, model B, 1911, serial number 43567. I bought it from a reputable dealer in 2001 for £5000. It's obviously been decently looked after during it's life and had an overhaul at some point as hammers and strings are not original. None of the inner workings are new or recently replaced however. The casing could benefit from cosmetic work although it's fine for me. The music rest needs fixing (one split) although it works perfectly well. I've had it well looked-after and frequently tuned. It has turned legs and a sunburst music rest, a good warm tone and is pretty even and a reliable instrument.
 
£3250 is a good price as I want to sell as quickly as I can. Buyer collects.
