Bechstein V piano in very good mechanical condition (i.e. hammers, action, bridal straps, original i***y/e***y keys, etc are literally 'as new' condition). Serial number 46768, dates this piano to 1891-1900 (approx 1897-8). Case & internals are in very good condition. In fact, the photos taken here don't really do this piano justice. (The red bridal straps are all in excellent condition, but the glare from the flash photography from my mobile phone has made some of them look white, when really they are all red and in pristine order). (Can send extra pics if necessary). Recently tuned to concert pitch A440 & inspected by 2 piano tuners/technicians/diploma level musicians in the last week. Both of them concurred that this is a wonderful piano to play & valued the piano at £1500. The tone is less bright than a Bechstein III, with a mellifluous mellower sound, which would be ideal for the home setting. Suitable for all pianist levels from beginner to diploma level. A very fine example of Bechstein craftmanship. Soundboard, wrest plank, bridge, etc all in excellent condition. Previously listed at £1500, but now reduced for a quick sale. Bargain price for a piano of this quality & condition. Viewings welcome. Thanks for looking. (Payment by bank transfer, cheque or cash on collection of the piano. Buyer to collect). Grab yourself a bargain now, because at this price a piano of this quality won't be available for a long period of time! Reduced to £800 for a quick sale.
