There is one black key missing, the last one at the top. It just needs glueing on, but god knows where it is. My piano tuner said he would bring a free one for me next time, but there's no point tuning it if its going to move, although this Bentley stays in-tune incredibly well. However you can by one (standard size) on Ebay for £2.52.

(Stick with any glue, i prefer wood glue. Its common for pianos of this age for the keys to come unstuck, its the central heating that does it.)
Alternatively, ask at any piano workshop. They will have spares in abundance.

Its been a brilliant piano, well used and enjoyed. As a result, its got scratches and chips (as expected) and needs a good polish. Its not a show piece, iT IS a great working instrument for someone at beginner/intermediate level who wants to improve as a pianist. As a professional musician, I bought it for its sound, lush and mellow, but with some bite and attack, perfect. I paid £800 for it, but i'm not expecting anything like that.

There's exactly the same model on Ebay right now selling for a whopping £1395,00! The only difference is cosmetic and some servicing. Other than that, your looking at the same piano for a bargain price.

As for transportation, contact G&R for a quote. They are the cheapest piano removers company i know of, unless you know someone (i.e. your piano tuner or local dealer) who will do it on the cheap. Ask them for a quote for moving a Bentley upright piano from a first floor house (14 steps inside, and four outside the house) in SE18 to your home.
