A lovely little Challen Baby Grand Piano dating to 1921-1930. The serial number is 35834. This attractive piano measures only 4' 6" so is perfect for all size rooms taking up almost the same space as an upright..but having the look and feel of something a lot more opulent...Challen were an English manufacturer of pianos and the name Challen is associated with reliability and durability. In 1936 they signed a contract with the BBC and this ensured their popularity in every home across the Country. This piano has recently been repolished and tuned to concert pitch.It is ideal for all ability of player..the tone is bright and clear and it is a lovely piano to play.. |
