Challen pianos are renowned for a good well rounded tone and lightest responsive touch. Challen (Est. London 1804) were the chosen pianos of the BBC for many years. This British made piano has been in our family for 20 years since new and has been much loved! Recently retuned (1st October 2010) to concert pitch. The piano has a mahogany case which is still in very good condition (see photos). The matching piano stool, which can hold a large number of music books is included in sale. There are two small marks on the gloss finish, had a quote for £50 to repair. Reluctant sale due to moving house, again, and downsizing.
