I inherited this piano from my Great Aunt back in 1998 as she was unable to play any more due to her age.
My daughter has been playing the piano since then and recently passed her Grade 5 on said piano.
I promised her I would buy her a new piano if she reached Grade 5 and we are now the owners of a very nice Yamaha U1.
However, I did not realise that this piano has quite a bit of value so I have removed its listing from ebay and re-listed here.
The piano is fully functioning from the point of view of peddles and keys and is "in tune" but will need a final tune when it reaches its final destination.
I believe the piano is over 70 years old and has all the usual wear and tear (and sun bleach)marks you would expect for something of this age.
There is however some damage to the right hand side of the lid where some water from a pot plant was spilt and left, I am sure this is easily repairable.
There is a number on the right hand side of the casing which is "C & S 121456"
Anyone how wishes to view/play the piano before buying are more than welcome
Any questions please call me on 07841 835 326
Best regards
Gary
