The piano has an iron frame and is 7 octaves. It has been tuned every six months and hence is always in tune. When I bought it about 15 years ago I discovered there were no string indentations on the hammers thus it must have been either completely restored previously or had been an ornamental piano. I learned up to Royal School of Music grade 5 on this piano and should really have continued up to 8.
