Kurzweil SP2X Digital Stage Piano

The Kurzweil keyboard has a full size, fully weighted, hammer action keyboard and is in excellent condition - just 4 months old.  It comes complete with power adapter and traditional style sustaining pedal.  Original box retained.  RRP is currently £800.

I am a classical pianist who has taken up jazz. I chose this instrument because it has the sound and feel of a good quality acoustic piano, but with the added benefits of contrasting sounds (electric piano, organ, strings, brass).  It also has pre-set rhythms, and a range other functions such as metronome, transposition, pitch bending and connectivity to a computer for use with notation software etc.

Reason for sale is because I am finding it heavy to carry around for workshops and gigs.  It is fully portable, weighing 48.5 lbs (22kg).  It is fine for use at home (would need a stand), or in a studio.  The fact that it is built robustly also makes it ideal as a gigging instrument by someone younger and/or fitter than me!

Please note that the Kurzweil does not have any integrated speakers - this is standard practice for digital stage pianos.  Hence would need to be played through a hi fi system, headphones, a small keyboard amp or a PA system.

I would be happy to help with delivery, if need be, provided the distance is not excessive - but buyer would probably want to see and play it first?
