Powerful new speaker system for Grand Sound

Developed especially for the HP-7e, this new speaker system features an ideal balance between the upward-pointing tweeters and the full-range speakers in independent speaker enclosures facing you under the keyboard. In combination with the high-grade amps and high-quality output, the new system results in dynamic, vibrant sound of great depth and exceptional presence-the same presence and rich flow of sound from both above and below the soundboard as you experience when you sit down to play a grand piano.

You can customize it to fit your taste

The HP-7e offers a range of functions that let you cus-tomize it to suit your playing style. Key Touch Control lets you select your choice of four different touch settings. Lid Angle provides three settings that simulate the way the tone and color of the sound change depending on the position of a grand piano's lid. Hammer Response Control provides three sensitivity settings for even more delicate control, accurately simulating the slightly slower hammer stroke and delay in timing when the piano strings are struck during subtle pianissimo passages. Along with the Progressive Hammer-Action Keyboard's Escapement feature, this function assures a touch even closer to that of an acoustic grand piano.

Realistic instrument sounds, and flexible per-formance options

In addition to realistic piano sound, the HP-7e offers a wide range of other high-quality instrument sounds. You can even combine two sounds for Dual mode play, and easily adjust the volume balance of the two sounds. Or use the Split mode to play a different sound with each hand for an instant duo.

Learn music the natural, easy way

The HP-7e comes with a perfect balance of functions to help you develop a fine sense of music. Naturally, it provides a Metronome function for practicing. But in addition, it also offers a percussion instrument rhythm function. This function can turn a standard practice session into a session of highly educational fun, providing a natural way to develop a better sense of rhythm. With the built-in 2-track recorder, you can listen in on yourself, check your progress, and hear how good you really sound. The HP-7e also includes a fun-to-play note-guessing game designed to help your children naturally develop their ear for music. This game, together with the rhythm and recording functions, makes the HP-7e ideal for developing a sense of timing and pitch, and learning how to perform ensembles.

65 preset songs for instant playing

The HP-7e comes preset with 65 famous piano pieces, so even if you've never touched a piano before you can start playing it the day you bring it home. These preset pieces are a great aid to practicing. You can change their tempo as you like, or mute just the left hand part, or the right hand part, and play along. You can also just listen to the presets-to discover how good the HP-7e sounds. The scores for the pieces are included for your use as well.
