This upright is an AH Franke of Leipzig, re-conditioned, over strung, underdamped, good action, in an attractively shaped ebony case. It has been well-kept and much loved for many years, but we are finally selling it to make way for the Bechstein I played endlessly as a child which my mother can no longer keep as she is moving house. The Franke was valued at £2000 but the market is not easy and so we are happy to sell for £800 to see it have a good home by mid October. It is a real bargain at that price! |
